MSTR - What is it for and What are the Benefits?

What scars can do to us…

Scars may have a huge influence on our presenting problems.

Scar tissue can: • create restrictions in fascia • reduce blood and lymph flow • inhibit movement and functionality • cause pain or numbness • create anxiety and self image problems

Scars may feel and look unpleasant. We may shun that part of our body, having a dislike or repulsion of our scar. We may be ashamed to display the scar in public - such as at the beach or swimming pool which creates self-image problems or a dislike of part of our own self.

Some people feel as if a body part is ‘detached’ in some way - as if an arm or leg does not belong to them any more. This ‘disassociation’ or lack of feeling ‘whole’ is quite common with post-surgical or post trauma wound scars.

Thankfully, help is at hand!

The changes that MSTR® produces are usually permanent! How so? Once MSTR® releases the binding scar tissue there is no physiological reason it reappears - unless through further injury or surgery

Why is the treatment of scar tissue so important?

According to research, if a scar is left untreated. it may make other therapeutic interventions less effective or not last as long - resulting in you returning time and time again to your practitioner for further treatment. Even though your scar may be many years old MSTR® could be the treatment your body has been searching for, to help relieve the restrictions that scar tissue is causing. Often just one or two sessions can produce dramatic changes that you can see and feel

MSTR® is primarily designed for:

• Surgical scars including laparoscopic scars • Trauma wound scars including burn scars • Non-visible scar tissue like sports injuries but there are additional applications such as: • Plantar fasciitis • Carpal tunnel syndrome • Restricted shoulders • Dupuytren’s Contracture • Axillary Web Syndrome (AWS)

Even though your scar may be decades old, MSTR® has an outstanding record of success!

As an approved MSTR® practitioner I am trained to treat you and your scars in a sensitive, professional manner.

You’re in safe and caring hands."
